So i guess he's the muscle in this movie. IF he is cast.
He'll be the Doomsday or that type of villain who just acts like a pure machine. No dialogue at all or a few lines depending on who he is. All visual.
Hey, for this universe im down with that, but it also makes me roll my eyes up a little bit because the new actors being cast in this movie are just nothing special in the acting department. The fact that Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon and Kevin Costner are out (all great actors) tells me that this movie desperately needs some talent. Lex Luthor needs to be like some Oscar nominee or winner.
Im also getting worried about the future Justice League. Im somebody who criticizes Avengers but at least they had some balance. I dont think Chris Evans is a great actor, but look at Downey/Sam Jackson/Scarlett/Ruffalo or even Renner. Look at their resume. Now look at the potential JLA. None of these folks (3 and counting) are probably ever going to get nominated for an oscar. They're just average actors when you take them out of context, outside of the superheroes they're playing. If they do the same for Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, etc....then im truly worried about seeing a massive team-up film where every hero is nothing to write home about as an actor. A bunch of wooden scenes or explosions, fights and one-liners. Avengers felt like that too but it at least had better talent across the board.
JLA probably wont have Amy Adams unless it's a cameo. Affleck, Gadot, Cavill work best whenever they have BETTER actors surrounding them in scenes. Which is why MOS worked with Henry. Imagine Cavill surrounded by no-name or very average versions of Lois, Jor-El, Ma/Pa Kent, Perry and Zod?? It would have been quite the disaster.
