Deaths are pointless if the guys don't stay dead. They just take away from when you do a real death later as you'll have cried wolf one too many times.

I really hope the major death that occurred on
Arrow
this week is not reverted back. It made the stakes for the series actually go up in a tangible way.

I doubt it because
I think it's the catalyst that sends Laurel on the path of becoming the Black Canary

I agree. Good season premiere. What a way to begin it.

Yes it clearly was and I kinda don't like Laurel taking that position.

well I knew it was going to happen when the actress was posting pics of her going beast mode in the gym..

Take out the sequels, and yes, pretty much.

Explain how, then.

Thor was a perfect example of how you can completely change the aesthetic of the Marvel Formula but at the end of the day it is still totally the Marvel Formula.

I love how you included movies not actually made by Marvel :hehe:

In terms of just the teams, I would argue JL cause there are no restrictions on the major heroes we can see together :D

In terms of movie franchises, there is a certain formula Avengers will abide to. JL has a lot of unknowns and is farther away. I'm still more excited cause Superman, Batman, Flash, GL, WW are much more interesting characters to me than the Avenger counterparts :o
I have a friend called 'Batman v Superman v Flash v Green Lantern Vs Wonder Woman, Go Justice League!!' who said something similar.

Although he prefers Avengers.

so we should start taking bets on who appears to die but doesn't in Avengers 2

Good point. My predictions:

The Vision will sacrifice himself towards the end, gaining the respect of his teammates, who initially don't trust him because he was helping Ultron. But since he's a robot, it will be revealed at the end that he's of course, still "alive" and Stark will build him a new body.

The Hulk will appear to die but it will be revealed in a post-credits stinger that he was actually teleported to Planet Hulk.

Hawkeye will die for real and no one will care.
