I never really cared for Bale as batman.
He's a gifted actor and I enjoy him in other movies, but I was never completely sold on him as Bruce or Batman.
Just not my cup of tea.
I don't think it's really that people just latch on to the new and hate on the previous like some people like to suggest.
I think you see more negative posts about Nolan's trilogy now partly because it's actually safer to say such things these days.
Back in the days when the TDK/Nolan hype was at it's full power,fanboys/Nolanites would come down on you with such rage for voicing even the smallest criticisms.
Now your can voice your opinion without having to worry about dealing with rabid nerd rage or receiving death threats.

Some of us can strip our sleeves and show are scars and say, "these wounds I had in Nolan's day".
My two cents... Bale is an amazing actor, that quite frankly was good as Batman. Notice... Good. He wasn't the best thing to ever appear on screen. He wasn't undermined totally and completely by the choice of "Bat Voice". He didn't some how by grace of his presence alone elevate the films, but neither did his performance hinder Nolan's trilogy. That's where I come down. He was good. He also was not the end all be all, and frankly, post BB I don't think the film's served the character of Bruce Wayne/Batman as well as they could have.

Heh, he's always looked the part. He's the most Bruce Wayne/Batman actor we've gotten in live action, so far.
