Best episode of the season by far, because not only are the stories starting to come together finally, the Latino Wonder Twins were nowhere in sight! *does a happy dance* Anyway, with regards to the various stories:
Peter: Man it must suck to be you. Just when you get your memory back (thank you Mama Petrelli. Was that actually a demonstration of her power when Peter's memories were restored?) you lose your Irish girlfirend in the post apocalyptic future (horray!) And if you potentially prevent that nightmarish future from happening, does your girlfriend also cease to exist once the timeline is gone. And you certainly could have picked a better guy than Adam for a buddy. Guess will see in the next episode how Peter met this guy.
Niki: So long Nikki, it was nice knowing you and your other self, even though you were dead weight last season and practically a non-presence this time around.
Mohindir: Jezz, Nikki's blow to your face didn't raise your IQ points any, did it? I mean, you seriously trust the Company more than HRG, especially since you know full well it was the Company that made the virus? Can this guy be even more of a tool?
Matt: The most improved character from last season has to go to Matt, and not just because we find out that his telepathy includes literally controlling the brain. His confrontation with his dad was poetic justice and a nice psychic confrontation that was simple but effective.
Claire/West: Seriously, Claire, you can do a lot better than this dork, and he's definitely not worth rebelling against your family with your whole "You go, I'm staying!" teenage rebellion act. Besides, West has got to be a plant for the Company. Sure, Bob could've figured out Claire's whereabouts from that newspaper article, but even so, it seemed like Bob has a very good idea where the Bennets are. BTW, remember Claire's comment from the first or second episode about her saying that maybe her blood could heal people? Well, guess this episode implies that her blood can do exactly that and I'm sure will see it demonstrated next week.
Hiro: Yes Hiro, it really is all your fault. Finally, he's out of Japan and, as a lot of folks figured out, he turned out to be the Kensei of legend although not the historical Kensei. Best part about that story was when he actually did face/off with Kensei. Or should I say, Adam Monroe. (Great little twist at the end, although I already knew it was coming.)
BTW, anyone else curious as to which of the group of twelve could control the weather as according to that news article?
