Crowd Reports!!!

My theater got one laugh at the end with the cute joke. The rest of the time...it was just dead silence. A couple of dudes laughed with the morbid kiss amongst the ruins of Metropolis with millions of dead people around. No applause.

Somebody called the army chick a w**** when the said Superman was hot.

Although I do agree that that was a weird scene to place after such an emotional one killing Zod.

People chuckled at both screenings that I went to regarding seeing Clark in glasses.

Damn, on another note, I wish parents would think twice before bringing toddlers or small kids who don't know how to handle themselves because my 2nd screening was plagued with several kids being such big annoyances where they kept talking and talking about stupid things while the film was playing and one toddler just kept screaming or running around.

I was this close on either telling them to quiet down or even go to the theater attendant so that they could tell them to quiet down or leave.

I think what was worse was in the scene where the boys drag Clark out of the car and try to fight him, the guy sitting next to me in my first viewing (who was very obnoxious throughout the whole film) said "Man, if that was me, I would've just squeezed those kids necks with my hands. Imagine that, seeing blood and guts pop all over the screen! It'd be awesome!"

Yeesh, that's disturbing. But that sadly is a lot of the mentality of the youth today. It's why I thought the namecalling and bullying Clark dealt with felt real.

It's there to counterbalance the emotional one and give the audience a relief

Brought my mom to watch MOS.. and she thoroughly enjoyed herself...

But she did ask, 'Home come superman was so weak and got beaten up by some dudes'.. naturaly she didn't understand that those are kryptonians...

It's a sign of the times:csad:
I remember being the only one put off by all of Starks jokes when the aliens were laying waste to new york only to be topped off with his Falafel joke at the end there in the middle of an wrecked street. Then also making the point that after finding loki, he insists they all get some Shwarma.

Figure there are more pressing matters the team could attend too(like people in sewers).

Meh, gotta draw a line somewhere, MOS seems like good a place as any.

My Cinema here in London was very active during the film, a few laughs, lots of "Woah" comments, cheers and all sorts.

There was even a nice cheer and applause at the end which isn't that common here in the UK.

When I saw it in IMAX, half my crowd did laugh at and the other half groaned at was the "I just think he's kinda hot" line.

i feel you on that

My theater was around half full. They laughed when they should have and they were quiet when they should have. And it got decent claps at the end. Overall, a good theater experience. Saw a couple people with "S" shirts on.

I saw someone with a cool Zod logo shirt after my second viewing. I definitely have to remember to look into getting one when I have some money to spend.

Seen it twice now. Both got ovations at the end title card Man Of Steel. Both crowds seemed to really enjoy it.

lol. u would get ur neck snapped.

That's genuinely surprising, considering the location.

:lmao: I didn't think about it like that until you mentioned it. Wow.

I had an average crowd tonight. Got a few laughs from the destroyed truck scene and the army girls comment.

Took my son to a 9:50am showing Saturday morning. It was crowded..may be 70% filled. Crowd seemed to enjoy it.

Went to see The Purge on Sunday and it was about 70% full which was shocking because of the day of the week. So out of curiosity I went to peep in MOS after the movie was over and it was packed. I was literally in shock with the Sunday turn out for both The Purge and MOS.

Usually Sunday is a slow day for movies but because it was fathers day many of the films were full.

Went to see MoS again tonight, this time in 2D. My friends liked it which I wasn't sure they would. Also the film holds up very well through the second viewing.
