Crowd Reports!!!

Crowd wasn't as packed as the 5 previous showings, but was still pretty full and very lively. A little 8 year old kid legit shouted "HOLY CRAP" when Zod took off his armor and finally learned how to fly. :funny:

I'll be seeing it tonight again as well, 6th showing. Hopefully a 7th with my parents if their work schedule agrees with it next week....

I saw it for the 3rd time last night. My first viewing (Saturday night 6/15) the audience was the most responsive. This was expected as it was opening weekend. Audience laughed at the few humorous parts and pretty strong applause at the end.

My 2nd viewing was Monday night (6/17). Audience laughter at the few humorous parts but no applause at the end. I remember hearing a girl behind me saying, "that is so sad" when Jonathan Kent signaled to Clark to not attempt to rescue him.

During last night's viewing, some laughter (not as strong as my previous viewings) and there was applause at the end.

My crowd today was actually bursting in laughter when he fails his first flight.

Serious dedication man. I have to play catchup with you. I've only seen it 4 times. I feel like a bad Superfan compared to you :oldrazz:

Lots of time to do so, my man:word: My last showing was a drive-in on the 17th so I'm already itching to see it again, especially spending a lot of time lurking in the BO thread. I feel it's our mission lol:woot: Plus, got to get my fix because awaiting the DVD will be painfully long in itself!

Lol going for 6th on sun

Is there a competition? Lol
Btw, I watched SR 8 times. :D

Damn right it's a competition. Only the strong. Only the bold. Only the most dedicated! :D

My first viewing here in Australia on Thursday night was great. The biggest laughs came from the bar scene, where the trucker tries to shove Clark and basically hits a brick wall, and of course, the aftermath with his truck ending up impaled on telegraph poles. "He's kind of hot" got a snicker as well, and of course there was an audible gasp when Zod met his fate. No clapping at the end though, but no one claps here lol.
As we were walking out, I overheard a guy probably in his late 50's say "Yeah I'd easily give that a 9 out of 10"

wow, almost same reactions from crowd at my second viewing. :wow:

glad to hear about all the positive crowd reports!!!

but....what I would love to witness firsthand would be the crowd reaction to a movie that realy sucked.......like The Last Airbender. :hehe:

I was at the midnight premiere. There was this couple about 50 minutes in that threw their sodas on the ground and walked out. I don't blame them.

It's the 19th day since the movie was released here and the theater we watched last night is still half full. :D

Yeah, my showing today was actually half-full albeit the lowest attendance for a MOS screening I've attended. Still lively crowd. :D

I would say yes, there are tons of new movies released here WWZ, MU and a local big movie yet MOS is still playing. BTW WWZ is sharing with another local movie on a single theater yet MOS was released first and playing on a full theater.

The only movie i walked out of was one of the Harry Potter... I liked the first one, then the rest was really boring... if i didn't walk off, i might have fallen asleep...

Oh, wait, i walked out of another, Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy... it was a british sci-fi, (i loved the books, cause it was funny as hell), but alas, british movies sucks (hehe, my opinion)...

That's good to hear. :)

I was surprised to see on how packed my theater was tonight considering how long the film has been out in Hawaii already since I don't know of many films that are shown here that still have quite a showing like mine's had tonight.

British movies suck? Okay, that's where I cross the line!

:hehe:

HAHA... sorry, I know a lot of ppl like british movies.. i just hate em... they are too dry and boring for me... in fact, i don't think i like any british tv shows as well, except those comedies like Mr. Bean, Benny Hills show, etc...

Holllywood is trying to be more 'british' today with their 'ultra realistic approach to making movies' and i am hating it...
