Crowd Reports!!!

Saw it for the 6th time today and I was surprised to see it was more packed today than it was yesterday. Anyways, they scene my crowd really loved is when we see him with the suit for the first time.

Saw it for the 6th time in a smaller theater, but man it was still like 80% full.....no one clapped at the end this time but I heard people asking if they liked it and overall they said they did...:)....someone said "crime doesn't pay" after Supes and Zod scene, that drew some laughter lol, but other than that people seem to like it...:)

Saw it for a 5th time today at 1pm here in Tallahassee. Surprsingly there were actually more people than I thought. I was expecting to be the only one, (or maybe 2 more person) in the entire theater but I'd say there were a solid ~20 people there. Which is shocking because on my 3rd viewing last Tuesday there was were only about 6-7 people. So if anything attendance went up in this particular movie theater. I also go at around the same time everytime I go, early afternoon, so this was an encouraging development.

Also, there were lots of laughs at the parts where audiences were supposed to laugh, it almost felt like the crowd were mostly newbies instead of repeat viewers like me.

Bahahahahahaha! Best.post.ever.:woot:

just got back from my 6th times seeing Man Of Steel, first time in 2D (3D was pushing it lol).

I was very surprised by the fact that the theater was still pretty packed, not as much as the other times I went, but around 70-75% full.

I had to be nosey and I asked a few people why they chose to see MOS instead of the newer movies that had just come out, so said they had already seen MOS already but didnt understand World War Z, This Is The End was only good for 1 viewing, and the rest were a bunch of kiddie movies (Lone Ranger included)....to say I was shocked by the World War Z comment is an understatement since while I have not seen it I have heard pretty good things, out of 25-30 people that I asked, around 10 said the same thing about WWZ, that or they haven't seen it or like This Is The End its only worth 1 viewing where as MOS seems to get better the more you see it (which I loved that comment lol).

As seeing the movie for the first time in 2D....I have to say you really do notice the shaky cam more in this version where the 3D, its there but not as noticeable

^----Yoda says word of mouth is strong on this one hmmm

^lol I hope so, if my saying good things about the movie means we get more out of it them I'll never shut up lol, god looking at that post though.....I freaking hate using my phone to type lol

That's weird. I saw it 6x as well, and the audience clapped in the end all but the last time.

I cant believe it but they're not even showing it at my location anymore. Just a week ago they were showing it 7 times a day.

Thankfully for me I saw one of the last showings just 2 days ago. It was just me and two other guys who were friends. They laughed at all the funny moments and appeared to have a good time. Since the theater was mostly empty I sat 8 rows from the front and really enjoyed myself. It was 2D, and I kind of missed the 3D, especially during the flight scenes

not surprising since the turn out in your local cinema was poor.
but i thought they should at least retain a show time a day. :(

Yea thanks Arms lol. There was only 4 of us including me in there lol, which was expected sadly....and I'm so mad at myself cause I started to fall asleep towards the end...:(......I think I'm starting to get into DVD mode....could be the reason or maybe there wasn't anyone around for me to gage there reactions to scenes. Oh well, I think I'll chill a little and see some new movies lol...:p

After 7 viewings it's completely understandable to start to get bored/fall asleep. Hell, most movies I never watch 7 times because they bore me after 1 or 2 times.

TDK I've only watched probably 10 times (theater twice) and I can't even sit through it anymore because I get bored. The fact I've seen MoS 5x and want to go back for 6 and 7 says a lot.

I think 7 will be my limit as well though. I think I'll be bored by then too. I'll need to give it a good few months rest and then in December buy the Blu-Ray. I'm going to wear that Blu-Ray out. It took me over a hundred viewings (a piece) of Spider-Man 1 & 2 on DVD before I finally couldn't watch them anymore. :woot:

Finally, my parents schedule coincides with mine. I've been wanting to take them. Got 3 tix for Saturday nights viewing for a 6th time:word:. Eager to see how they like it. They aren't movie-goers lol.

Lol....I know for a fact I'm going to be watching it on repeat and it's going to be my night light.....probably going to put my tv on sleeper lol....my girlfriends already threatening to take my blue ray if I watch MOS again...:whatever:....:)

I went today for the first matinee showing and it was really packed for a small theater, more so than the other times I've gone since I went opening weekend. There were about 100 people in my theater today. :yay:

People chuckled at both screenings that I went to regarding seeing Clark in glasses.

Damn, on another note, I wish parents would think twice before bringing toddlers or small kids who don't know how to handle themselves because my 2nd screening was plagued with several kids being such big annoyances where they kept talking and talking about stupid things while the film was playing and one toddler just kept screaming or running around.

I was this close on either telling them to quiet down or even go to the theater attendant so that they could tell them to quiet down or leave.
How did the kids at your screening react to the violence?
