I have the Walmart sneak preview for 7pm today, not sure how long a line they'll be since I"m assuming more people to show up for the midnight showing but at least seeing it early lets me have a good nights sleep.

I saw the movie Monday night. The crowd I was with seemed to enjoy the movie. They laughed at most of the comedic scenes. They cheered at some points. However, there wasn't a lot of chatter afterwards. It seemed everyone was almost exhausted after all that action.

Amusingly, one of the biggest laughs came from the infamous "He's kinda hot" scene. Go figure.

^^ All things I want in a Superman movie, their criticisms only have me more excited to see it.

There was no one in line when I bought my tickets at Walmart...but there are lines out the arse now to see the movie!!!

Yeah! I noticed that at my screening. Lots of kids born after SR wearing Superman shirts. A couple even had capes!

Boston - My friend and I showed up about an hour early and there was already a big line. By the time everyone got in there, the place was packed. However, my crowd reaction was mixed at best.
People laughed at weird spots that obviously weren't mean to be laughed at - a lot.
When it ended there was a short applause and then only a handful of people stuck around for the credits.

There were people who chuckled at some of the Lois/Superman scenes

Mexico City sneak preview, theatre full obviously since it was invitation only, lots of kids too, anywhere from 7 or so to teenagers, people laughed at points where laughs are to be expected, cheering in some parts of the movie and extremely serious when a certain event happens at the end of the movie, this worries me. Up to that point I think it was business as usual, but I'm sure word of mouth is spreading about a certain non-characteristic action near the end, I don't think it will hurt the movie, in fact it might attract more viewers, just not sure how many of those will be kids...other than that, great experience!!

Just got back from a Wal Mart promotion screening. Both of my friends said they really liked it, there was some applause, and quite a few loud "F#$% YEAH!" responses after the last scene. All of the screens were sold out as well.

Already did that in Superman II.

Some will say that doesn't count because of deleted scenes. But what's released is released.
