I think 13 thus far till they get picked up for a full season which will be 22-24 episodes.
Who is the girl in all those gifs Savage?
Amell comes off as stiff in his line delivery. He'll need more work but he was fine.
The show's off to a solid start, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it unfolds. The action is already good.
you really have to check out the pilot and at least the second ep, DA...
it really surprised ME... don't judge it by a trailer until you really get the feel of it with an entire ep or two...
I was never into GA, be it in the comics or on Smallville, but I'm DEFINITELY hooked...
The sizzle reel is what made you think batman Begins? Why? I understand when we only had clips from the first episode. But I don't see it other than in the vaguest sense in the sizzle reel.
Batman Begins invented gritty urban crimefighters.
Honestly? That's exactly what it is, imo. But I have no problem watching a faux-Batman Begins as a weekly series, lol.Maybe it's because I never read GA comics, but I just watched the sizzle reel and....is this anything else but a lower-budgeted Batman Begins TV show with CW-styled writing and acting?
Naw, it's an hr/ep series so it'll only have 12-13 max.I think 13 thus far till they get picked up for a full season which will be 22-24 episodes.

I agree, very stiff, plus the dialogue in general for the pilot was kind of.. eh. The action is the pilot's saving grace obviously, I expect that will be great all the time.
So, if they can fix the dialogue and delivery (and flat out do away with the voice over) this show should be solid.
This show is great.
I just read a review that said Amell is giving off a cold performance...Then went on to compare it to the more charismatic one given in Smallville...then went on to say that Arrow is merely following the treads already trekked in smallville....sigh.
Most reviews I've read have faced this sort of confusion. Give it at least a few ep's before judging it, Spartacus took about 4 before it really sang. I do agree with more reviews about the Writers(not the writing), I hate those guys.
I guess I thought the performance was based on him coming off of being stranded on an Island for 5 years. Given that he was alone/tortured I would think anyone would be giving a cold vibe to those around him. So maybe it was intentional.. or just poor acting.
If its the latter I'll wait to see more episodes before passing final judgement based on 40 minutes of footage that we've seen thus far.
The more I think of older shows like buffy, I'm not sure any of them would have been able to find an audience with the way the internet is nowadays. Let alone be as widely praised.

The Cape?
Maybe take notes of what not to do...
Oh, okay. I wasn't sure if you were one of the five people who actually like that show.![]()

Did The Cape have a cape?
