Ohh man, we're getting Deathstroke in episode 5? That's awesome. :D

From SHHs front page.

The amount of lower-tier DC characters appearing in Arrow is probably the most exciting thing about the show. Already there is one Batman villain making an appearance and it has been announced that another will be making an appearance. Zap2It is reporting that the synopsis for the tenth episode of Arrow is as follows:

In episode 110, Oliver will meet Garfield -- a firefighter who was horribly burned three years ago, and never recovered from the trauma. Since then, he's been abandoned by his wife and kids, and he's now described as a "bitter, vengeful shell of a man." Meanwhile, the Starling City Fire Chief is also haunted by Garfield's injury... since he's the one who was forced to leave Garfield behind to burn.

Sound familiar? If you've done your homework, you'll realize this is none other than Garfield Lynns aka Firefly. Originally, Firefly was a pyrotechnics expert turned arsonist who thinks he can see visions in the fires he creates.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.

From Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter, the hard-hitting actionseries reinvents the DC hero. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen returns home with a mysterious agenda and very lethal new set of skills that he uses in a war on crime.

The show airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

I really wanna see who this Well-dressed man is.

Since they seem to be making a big deal I would think it is a comic character. Maybe a new take on count vertigo, which I would be fine. I think vertigo needs to be overhauled anyways like some of the cartoons have done.

In terms of popular green arrow villains we have vertigo, onomatopoeia, brick, and merlyn (which is tommy but who knows what his father is up to) that there is no word on.

At the rate they are going with dc characters I would be fine if they held off on those ones for a bit.

You guys should read the latest Arrow #2 (Digital Chapter) on Comixology that went live today. You'll get more clues towards the answers you want. 99c only.

I think he was talking about what other Batman villains the show is using.

The Royal Flush Gang is also on the show. Not sure if you want to count Deathstroke or Deadshot

The Royal Flush Gang is More a JLA villains

Deathstroke is a Teen Titans and Nightwing villain

and i do count Deadshot as a Batman villain

The Royal Flush Gang started in Batman though. Their more of a Batman villain then a Justice League villains

I wonder why he is so different from the Smallville version?

:whatever:When a last time there was a Royal Flush Gang story line in Batman title

It does not matter Where the villains started

Example The Kingpin started In Spider-Man, but most people think of him as The main enemy of Daredevil

I mean who the first

Deadshot or Deathstroke.

I wonder why he is so different from the Smallville version?

Deadshot - Smallville

No competition for either villain :funny:

The correct answer they want to do Batman but without naming it Batman

Using minor villains for Batman isn't a bad thing at all, plus...when did Green Arrow have a legit rogues gallery? The smartest thing is to use other villains and if they want to center on Batman's, then so be it because at least Batman has the more "realistic" villains to chose from.

ops I thought the question was about Green Arrow so my My answer was they turn Oliver to Batman so they do Batman but without naming it Batman

Awesome episode, and excited Deadshot is next week. Though it was gonna take a while.

Great episode. Can't wait to see Deadshot as well. :D

I guess we will be seeing more of China White eventually? She just kinda disappeared after the cops showed up, unless I missed something.

Joining the chorus.

That last scene made me gasp.

Amnell isn't a great actor but he's consistent and everyone else seems to be around the same level so they aren't overshadowing him like Rosenbaum did to everyone else except the Ma and Pa.

Great episode, I noticed that the guy in the NYCC trailer that was dressed in the arrow uniform fighting deathstroke on the island looked different from Amell, just thought it was the stunt double. But apparently its a different character.

Good episode. Though cant wait for Dinah to get in on the action and not be the damsel in distress.

I don't have a Comixology account and never really thought of getting one but thanks for the heads up.

Pilot was iffy. This episode was impressive. Solid acting and dialogue. Much better than Smallville. The series regulars performed very believably. Characters came off as more real and genuine. Amell and the Harry Dresden actor stood out for me. Great action as well. Well paced.

No complaints about this one. Also:

Oliver - Hamlet
Moria - Gertrude
Walter - Claudius
Lance - Polonius
Laurel - Ophelia
Robert - Hamlet Sr.

I thought it was a symbolic ending. Arrow killing Oliver Queen.

I havent seen the episode tonight... watching it soon... but tell me, as good of quality as the premiere? better? (didnt read any above posts to avoid any spoilers, so sorry if its be discussed lol)
