I could see them building to a JL movie without any Batman solo outings in between. We'd see him in World's Finest, Trinity, (maybe have WW and Flash movies on the side), and then Justice League. I'd be kinda similar to Marvel, but different enough with both solo movies and team-up movies.

1-2 years. Nolan's version is not jla material.

If you have seen this movie, you will agree to it.

I hope they will reboot it sooner than expected and spits out jla movie subsequently.

Having now seen the movie, no more than 3 years.

Hell, they could do it in 2 if they wanted to.

I would say in about five or six years.

And some may think this is crazy, buy I say WB give Tim Burton another go at a bat film. New actors playing the main roles - but Burton back either producing or directing.

Put the GOTH back in GOTHAM!

They should wait a minimum of 4-5 years. Theres no need to saturate the market with Batman Films at this point in time. Nolan just finished his trilogy, and like a fine wine, we should savor, and relish these next few years, knowing that Batman has been positioned as the marquee man in the DC universe.

When the time is right, someone will come along with fresh ideas and a new take, new narratives, concepts for their interpretation of Bats.

In Nolan's Access Hollywood interview they asked about a Catwoman spinoff. I would love it, and I'd bet Bale would come back as Wayne for a smaller but still sufficient role in it. Would be a good way for WB to hold off on a reboot. And they owe us for not making the Michelle Pfeiffer one and letting that turn into CINO.

“For me, Gotham and these characters, I’m done. I’ve told our story and I’m moving on,” he told Access, explaining that he’d love to see Anne play the character again under another director’s guidance. “I certainly think she deserves it, she’s incredible.”

I really hope a Catwoman spin-off gets made. I loved Anne in the role and a whole movie devoted to her would be awesome in the hands of the right director for it. I wouldn't mind seeing a BB-style prequel with Catwoman's origin in it and set before the events of TDKR. I'd prefer that to a reboot for now, TBPH.

I think it should be a longer period of time being that we're undergoing a reboot.

Give it 5 or 6 years. Let the franchise rest a bit before it reemerges in a new form.

3-4 years is just sequel time. Give it a bit longer so that when it reemerges there's no fatigue. It'll be special again. For the next few years, let the property rest. At that point it'll feel truly fresh again (as opposed to feeling like they just can't get their hand out of the cookie jar). Let the dust settle. Let pop culture change. A period of hibernation is due. Give it a minimum of five years.

I think they should start shooting in about 5 years with a whole new cast/director and then by the time they release it it'll be 6

I actually hope they don't reboot Batman, but perhaps make a Robin spin off with Levitt and reveal some of the bigger villains in the Batman franchise. Stay true to Nolan's "Batman" trilogy. Then again in a perfect world I would be married to Jennifer Love Hewitt and have a place in the islands.

I was pretty impressed after my second viewing.. first viewing she just kinda seemed..there. But she was quite good. As far as how long before the next one, might as well go with 5 or 6 years before the next stand-alone batman film.

Don't reboot this. Make another series, sure, but not a reboot. Amazing Spider-Man was a reboot since it was Spider-Man 4 turned into a whole new franchise. They made that movie because the previous franchise was killed, and they needed to get another on out aytime soon. It turned out really good, though.

I don't see The Dark Knight trilogy as a reboot to the Burton/Schumacher series. just another version. One thing I fear from TDK trilogy is that it was so good and worked so well with Batman that other superhero movies might want to ty it on other superhero, and I just can't see, let's say, a Hulk or X-Men or Spider-Man or Iron Man made the way TDK trilogy was done (with the realism and all) I hope I am proven wrong.

I think they could wait a good 5-6 years, if not more. True, if I could have a new Batman movie every year, i would certainly not mind. But I believe waiting could be wiser.

I would say do a soft reboot in Justice League. Don't get rid of everything Nolan did but change some stuff around much like what Singer did with Superman because then you still have the history and won't be stepping on others toes as well. However I kind of hope they do go with a new Batman mainly because if they did this there is a better chance of me seeing a Miles Spider-Man movie (who is much better than Parker IMO).

Ideally, I think it should be ten years. But they'll probably want to cash in sooner than than. I hope it's at least five.

And it should absolutely be a reboot. Or whatever you want to call it, it should have nothing to do whatsoever with the Nolan films or that version of the Batworld and its characters. Let that remain unadulterated...no spinoffs or semi-whatevers. Please, for the love of all that's holy.

10 years? Hell I thought 8 years of waiting was too long. I think 5 to 6 years is enough time to pass.

Spider-Man 3 didn't kill the franchise imo

8-10 would be fine. The longer the better so he's that much fresher/newer when they do start again.

5 years at a rough guess, time for this trilogy to sink in and no doubt work on Superman and JL in the meantime before a full on Batman reboot.

It may be more or less but whatever it is has much to live to, that much is certain!

I really think they could just wait 4 or 5 years. If it's really good and completely different from Nolan's vision they could even come out with in three years.

8, and not a month sooner!

I swear, if they go with a reboot as early as they're stating, I'll officially boycott the entire WB product; film, TV and all!
