The Dark Knight Rises How the movie is going to end

catwoman dies, alfred dies, gordon dies, mayor dies, mob dies, gotham dies, batman sits alone in the cave playing Clue on his giant billiard table for all eternity, always acting like Tobey Maguire in SM: always crying and whining.

With all of the current villains behind bars, Batman finally enters his new, redesigned Batcave. His new Batmobile rises from the floor as he watches stoically. Alfred emerges from the shadows and addresses his surrogate son with an expression of concern:

"Could I persuade you to take a sandwich with you, sir?"

"I'll get drive-through," the Dark Knight replies. Fade to black.

just wanted to drop by and say that OP's idea of:

"Gordon, why do we fall?"

Gordon shakes head

"so we learn to pick ourselves back up"

is all kinds of awesome and a great shot at actually happening.

Bruce enters the shiny new Batcave, immediately stops at the sight of something off-screen. Cut to the Bat-Computer, standing in front of it are Henry Cavill and Ryan Reynolds with smiles on their faces.

:oldrazz:

Better yet, Bruce enters the new Batcave, and standing in front of the Bat-Computer is Samuel L. Jackson with an eyepatch.

"That right, m-----f-----, I'm so badass, I cross dimensions! Now get in the Quinjet!"

The last scene will probably be some kind of meeting between Batman and Gordon, judging from the previous two films. Maybe Batman will thank him, to continue (and conclude) that reoccurring motif.

it will end with Bruce looking up in the sky towards the Bat Signal and the lines from TDK between Bruce and Rachel will play

"Do you remember when we said we'd be together when Gotham no longer needs Batman?"

He glances up into a tree. A robin looks down at him curiously

"Its coming"

call me crazy but that kind of comedy talk would work in a nolan film between Caine's alfred and Bale's wayne :woot::woot:

That would be the best ending ever. If that happened I would **** in my pants

Here's the stupid ending:

Batman after so many months trying to apprehend the so called Red Hood finally catches up to him and when unmasking him it turns out that it's George Clooney who winks at the audience saying "This is why Superman works alone"

*cue anvil dropping*

Hahahahahaha

TDKR should end with Bruce and Selina sharing a tender moment, then she asks "What's that?" Bruce winks.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

BRRRMMM

Bruce Wayne's wings don't open properly, falls 30 feet, survives. Gets unmasked at a local infirmary unit. Later convicted of multiple assault charged, including assaults of officers, endangering the public, inciting violence. Psychiatric evaluation finds him to be suffering from psychosis as well as a sociopathic personality. Lives the rest of his days in Braodmoore Hospital with Peter SutCliffe.

Batman and Lucius Fox capture Bane and take him out to a field, where a FedEx man delivers Selina Kyle's head in a box. Batman goes ape****, kills Bane. Fox runs away. Gordon arrests Batman.

The End.

Cue Credits.

A shame this thread went to ***** way too soon!,I feel it's a good topic and lot's of potential of discussions for a possible ending!even though it's still pretty early.

Instead it all went to over the top sarcasm as usual!.....A damn shame!!

Batman finally tells Gordon "You're welcome."

That would actually be pretty cool.
I hope if he does it though, that batman unmasked. Since this is Nolans final movie, i'd rather have a major sense of gamechanger conclusion than just, a conclusion. WB probably milk the crap out of it.

The film will end with Bruce 'friending' Selina Kyle on Facebook.

All the comments are hilarious but in all seriousness I would like an ending that has batman on a really high building overlooking gotham and then the sun rises and as the first rays of light engulf the cityscape batman leaps and glides away. It would be a great metaphor as in the dawn has finally come for gotham and batman, Bruce finally sees the light(if you know what I mean) and batman is redeemed( mind you he's still a vigilante) thus the dark knight has risen...
