I'm going to put down the haterade and say that trailer got me somewhat intrigued.

Keaton- Make it black

One he goes black he never goes back

Also the silver suit looks more imposing

"WHO ARE YOU?"

I wonder if that's a homage.

Eh, looks all right. Weller's robotic voice sounded much more...robotic.

Whoever cut the trailer together didn't make me really excited for it but it still looks good.

Hm, not sure how I feel about the trailer. I was really looking forward to the movie, and still am, but I'm not digging some of the changes. Also don't think this new guy has what to takes to top Peter Weller. His delivery of "Dead or alive, you're coming with me" was bad. Very bad.
It's just not robotic enough. Weller has the perfect mixture of monotone and emotion. Way too much emotion from Kinnaman.

Dude, it's in the future. We have Siri, which sounds robotic but it's getting there. You don't think they'll have more natural sounding AI voices in the future?

Hey, voice-complainers, I also noticed he doesn't move as stiffly as the Weller version. Me-oh-my, start the nagging.

everything looked good until robocop actually comes into it. samuel l. jackson looks amazing, michael keaton is awesome. the robocop suit looks meh. and i dont like that his emotions arent robotic. the human hand is dumb and doesnt even make sense. does this one take place in detroit? the dead or alive line sounded rad.

I know they're going for a more grounded Robocop and a cyborg wouldn't sound like the robots from Berzerk, but it just doesn't grab me. Kinnaman is all right, but I'm not like a massive fan of the dude either so....eh.

Something tells me the shot of him jumping and landing on the ground in the classic colored suit is the climax of the movie.

He has a human hand because OCP thinks it makes him appear more approachable. It's the PR element. So he can shake peoples hands, with an actual flesh hand.

"Dead or alive you're coming with me.....You've got 5 seconds to reply... and 3 are up." :woot:

Heh. :woot:

One thing's for certain, he already has the cold, calculating emotions and responsiveness of a cyborg down to a tee:

thats dumb. a mere human hand isnt going to make an otherwise entire robot more approachable. plus, another robot hand would be far more valuable to him serving his purpose. i hope it gets cut off. the visor needed to stay down, it looks dumb when its up. the suit overall isnt all that bad, but those two things are the issues i have with it.

im definitely intrigued by the movie, and look forward to seeing more. the trailer looks better than i expected.

Wow, I didn't expect the movie to look THAT bad..

One thing I DO like is, his voice and mannerisms that part feels like Robocop to me.

I friggin loved it, and thats coming from a MASSIVE robocop fan. Like robocop envelops my life kind of fan. But I can accept different interpretations, and know that the original movie will always be the greatest because everything stems from the 87 movie. it gave us everything, like this new movie. It's not 70+ years of comic book, TV series etc. this ORIGINATED from a movie.

Anyway More HD screen caps!!

I've watched it a few times already and I'm really stuck on how I feel about it parts I do like a lot and some of it just seems as others have said meh.

The trailer did not excite me, but the casting did: Jackie Earle Haley and Michael Keaton in the same film is glorious.

I REALLY really wish they had kept him in the silver suit BUT I have to admit the black does not look all that bad in action, definitely not as cheap as it did on set.

I'm just not a fan of it. And the helmet/visor color scheme makes him look like Knight Rider Man.
