Either this weekend or sometime next week TA should pass TDK for 28th on the all time adjusted BO. Without a re-release it will likely finish around 23-24 in that ranking... with another release it could crack the top 20...

I think each suit of armor that Tony designed should worth at least 500 million, so his net worth of 3 billion is a gross underestimation of his wealth. Heck, the technology of the Arc Reactor should worth way more than 3 billion by itself.

I think Marvel should make sure their Phase II MCU movies are even better than their previous installations, because the audience now have a greater expectation for those movies, and if they did it right I can see The Avengers 2 to be buoyed by Phase II movies' success, and will become a bigger phenomenon than the first. But if Marvel mishandles the sequels, it could bring down TA2's momentum a bit.

The armor right before the Extremis armor (the Iron Patriot that Norman stole) was worth 1 Billion dollars acording to Tony himself. So yeah he's worth way more than 3 billion.

That should be 3rd place .
Adam Sandler in fourth place with That"s My Boy 12- 15 million .
About 13 million for Snow White and The Huntsman in fifth place .
The top 2 are unchanged about 35 million for Madagascar 3D and 23 million for Prometheus .
These are all early estimates .

holy cow, RoA was never going to be in first place, but most early estimates hat RoA between 27 and 30M and TMB between 24 and 28M.

I'll be curious on Avengers, it seems to be finally losing alot of screens, but most estimates I saw were between 7-9M.

Based on the pattern vs TDK I estimate it will pull down no more than 10,088,493.43. Its pretty much been taking in 117% of what TDK has done . it could go as low as 9,485,000, but i have a feeling it will be higher than that. TDK made 8,600,000 on its same weekend.

Its only about 12 million from passing TDK in adjusted domestic. After that its when it reaches 600 million, Im not real sure what its next big target could realisticly be. It wont reach titanic without a miracle or second release and Avatar is freakishly out of sight....

RoA is a bigger bomb than expected estimated 15.5 million.

Even though stuff is under performing, I still will stick with high 8 mil-ish as the lowest Avengers gets. <shrug> we will see. hell, I will probably see it today, i still have friends who want to see it.

I don't see it clearing 600Mil next weekend personally, but it will be close at around 590-593ish IMO.

I think Father's Day could provide a bit of a boot for TA, so I think it will gross more than 8 mil for this weekend.

I just want to point out again that TA is in its 44th day of release in the USA... its still performing above what TDK did on a day by day and week by week status. TDK was in theaters for 231 days... from days 45 to 231 it earned 34 million dollars... since TA is on a slightly higher path it should still easily eclipse the 600 million mark, but there is a lot of viewing potential still out there. If it gets knocked from too many theaters when the july blockbusters hit it may well be worth a re-release, added material or not....
