THE BATMOBILE THREAD

I know this isn't the music thread but going off that I think some harder hitting synth-infused stuff (I'm thinking Cyberpunk 2077, Gesaffelstein, Hotline Miami, the more electronic Nine Inch Nails stuff, even Death Grips etc) would be amazing for a short John Wick club fight scene.

I don't think the 80s vibe would work as well as 90s or modern darker electronic stuff given the tone of the movie. Even something like Massive Attack could fit this world playing in a room or something. In general I agree though, as a different idea that would be cool

Italian supercar Pagani huayra roadster always looked like it would made a cool Batmobile. Those cars are way too expensive to probably rent for a movie though.

I think so. I'm not a car expert at all, but I remember reading that previous Batmobiles had real chassis and engines from pre-existing cars. The rest, like the fuselage, is just made-up stuff, props.

Never noticed before how thick the wheels are here. Looks cool.
I love the whole car and am very happy to have something so reminiscent of the 70s / 80s Batmobiles . The "tank" trend was starting to be tiring. I love it in TDKReturns, because it mirrors Miller's Batman, but otherwise I like that thing to be a "car".

Does it drive for real

I would assume so - as above, previous Batmobiles were driveable and this one is much closer to a mass production road car than any that have been featured in Batman movie outings in recent years, so I'd be very surprised if it wasn't built for purpose.

As a car nut and someone who's grew up tinkering with cars (my family run a car business and garage for decades), the Tumbler was the one that always blew me away. It's no secret that Nolan prefers practical effects to CGi, but even so, the lengths his team went to in order to build a functional Batmobile was amazing.

25 Facts Most People Don't Know About Batman's Tumbler

The Tumbler is my absolute favorite Batmobile ever. Not only does it look amazing, but it’s a very brilliant machine. It’s a tough one to top for me.

It's grown on me a little over the years, but it's still one of my lesser favourite Batmobiles tbh.

as far as i am concerned, these 3 are the only batmobiles that matter so far, and i hope the battinson mobile joins their ranks, but i will wait and see after the movie is out.

but it is looking good so far.

I love the Tumbler, but I wish it had been used more during the trilogy. It got destroyed too early, and althrough Batpod is amazing, it's not batman's signature vehicle. I hope Pattinson sticks much more with its ride.

We know it serves a purpose, I just don’t think it is aesthetically pleasing. Same with the Challenger looking ass Batmobile. Hope that gets upgraded in the sequel
what? the batmobile is perfect. you prefer those dog**** tanks? jesus

This is one of the worst Batmobiles. No flair. Generic. Not a fan. Looks like a modded challenger. I know it has precedence in the comics, but so does Joker’s boners and Batman’s spanking.

I think as of right now, it settles for third after Burton's and the '66 series. I like all the live-action Batmobiles tbh.

I agree Snyder’s is the worst but putting Reeves’ Challenger above the ‘66 Batmobile is laughable. The only three Batmobile that matter are Burton’s, Nolan’s, and the ‘66 Batmobile. Hoping Reeves’ is significantly upgraded in the sequel!

Snyder's is quite cool mashup between Burton's batmobile and tumbler, it's heavy but have aesthetics of classic batmobile.

Btw... Why everything always have to be a contest?

ps. Batman TAS batmobile is my favourite, but i like all of them. New batmobile is refreshing.

Best to worst IMO:

Each Batmobile has served the aesthetic of the movie it’s in. But these are the most aesthetically pleasing designs IMO. Reeves’ just doesn’t rank highly for me.
