An "insider" at rubies. That's where word started and cosplayers use and abuse it, say they saw the costume in person and take advantage of it to gain popularity.

We all know how amazing rubies costumes are right? so I don't blame them

Nice catch.

If the suit display is 100% accurate, it puts to rest a LOT of questions:

- the head is turned a pretty large degree implying good ROM
- there are pupils on the mannequin i.e. no white eyes (good)
- the knuckles, fins, and boots are NOT brass/bronze, but "steel" (so it seems those cosplayers did get some info, but were wrong about the material/color); the belt has a hint of bronze (which is awesome)
- as if it wasn't already confirmed enough: BLACK AND MOTHA***ING GREY!

So, yeah, it's pretty much perfect.

I knew it wouldn't be quite as thick or bulky overall as Miller's TDKR style for Batman. It looks like a cross between the TDKR look, Jim Lee's Hush design, and the new 52 design.

In other words, absolutely perfect. Couldn't ask for more.
