With Snyder directing,There's definetly a good chance batman will be badass fighter on screen in the style of netflix's daredevil

Those cosplayers sure jumped the gun,Should have waited after film comes out to dressed is BvS costumes

I'm glad they said he's more of a scrapper/fighter this time around. If he fights anything like in the Daredevil series I will be foaming at the mouth.

I hope he's not quite as acrobatic and his blows are more devastating i.e. more efficient / not as many punches thrown

that cosplay still looks cool tho. i cant believe this movie is a year away. cant wait for all the merchandise to come out. i should start saving up now

Yeah, he should hit harder for sure. He doesn't need to be as acrobatic, but more in the vein of BTAS would be enough. Give me some somersaults and air flips.

The suit reminds me of this:
latest

That is why I want longer ears.

Putting this here:

Snyder: I need a new suit
Wilkinson: Plain black is a little 80's, 90's, 2000's and 2010's, Mr. Snyder.
Snyder: I'm not thinking fashion, Mr. Wilkinson, so much as comic book accuracy.
Wilkinson: You want to be able to turn heads?
Snyder: It'd make separating the universes a whole lot easier.
Wilkinson: I'll see what I can do.

Someone has some terrible "sources."

Lmao, spot on xD

Though I gotta say, they weren't off on having metal brass knuckles and metal fins, though not gold lol

Also, that mannequin confirms head is movable, he looks to his left without any problem, really wonder how Wilkinson pulled that off

Funny how people act like turning heads in a batsuit is like acheiving cold fussion.

And by people I include me of course.

Suit is perfection.

Also looks like he's alot closer to Jim Lee's batman size-wise than Miller's TDKR. The shadows and the angle in the trailer made him look much bigger.

Which is perfect in my opinion as he'll have the very imposing figure Snyder was looking for, while retaining some sense of agility.

Also, it was obvious from the begining he wouldn't have the white eyes, not with how big the eye holes are cut out in the cowl. For it to look right they'd have to be much smaller, more like the snake slits we often see.
Remember Bale's Sonar lenses? yeah that didn't look too good.

He looks closer to Lee's size wise because nobody on earth is built like millers batman Lol. Design wise he's pretty much miller and capullo new 52.

I've never understood why people would make the lenses as big as the eyeholes. If I were ever to do the white eye look, I would just use white or nearly opaque contact lenses. That way you still retain some expression with the eye, and it's closer to the comic look. I wish Synder had done that here, but still, overall it's a minor gripe. The costume looks fantastic.

...but don't you think he would look like a blind guy..or had cataracts...or an albino...

Ben already did DareDevil...

I think he would look creepy, which is more or less the point, and why I'd like to see them. It's why we're unnerved by people with milky white eyes. Again, it's a very small complaint, but I wouldn't mind seeing it just to get an even more comic accurate suit. But overall, the suit really is superb.

The suit is 95% perfection for me. I'd like bigger ears, a slimer emblem, and the scallops from Nolan's cape that make him look like an actual bat when he's gliding.

Btw, will this Batman glide? God i hope he has a proper grapple gun and do the sniper rifle thing he did in TDKR. I mean, that was in the 80ies when the grapple gun wasnt part of his permanent arsenal. I think Miller invented it. Or was it Burton? In any case, i hope Snyder's nostalgia doesnt force such anachronisms. For all of Nolan's "realism", his batman sure was high tech.

I think the WB tour guide say this Batman is a grappling gun type of Batman...

So if Snyder happened to be in love with a batman story from the 60ies, his batman would be throwing a rope across buildings with his bare hands? I know he loves TDKR and that sniper rifle scene is pretty iconic, but it just doesnt fly anymore.

I'd love it if they just gave him TDKR to properly adapt as a one off thing like he did with Watchmen, and got someone else to do BvS and you know... use more appropriate stories as inspiration for the START of the movieverse. You dont start it with TDKR, or Batman Beyond.

The texture of the batsuit seems alot less pronounced in that photo.

Man...that's the wet dream of any Batman comic book fan. I mean, it looks like a Jim Lee drawing brought to life. It's amazing to see how faithful it is.

The scallops are on there, though.
