Best Batsuit by far, I just hope the neck looks a little better.

From what we've see in the footage from Suicide Squad, the neck looks a LOT better than that.

Comments such as these are pointless when we know that the cover completely misrepresents how the cowl looks.

No, it doesn't. Comparing it side by side with any number of live-action images shows that it looks very different.

I think there are a few who are prematurely celebrating rather than panicking. We should remember what a force those who insisted that the Batsuit must always be black rubber armour once were. It is too much to expect them to have disappeared overnight, though they haven't declared their hand for a while.

To be fair, the cowl, parts of the gloves, and parts of the boots I'm sure are made from a rubber-like substance.

The sculpted parts certainly are, and the mask at least was always going to be made of a rigid and malleable material. The point about a largely grey fabric costume stands, however.

True. I personally still prefer the all black look with the yellow oval, but the suit looks good; DK mode Batman head or not.

We're seeing the armoured Batman next to the Bat-signal an awful lot. It's becoming the ''Superman in handcuffs'' thing, only from more angles.

I need an HD version of the pic with Batman standing out of the Batmobile, next to Supes and Snyder. That looks to be the best picture of the normal Batsuit yet.

The ears are cut off exactly like millers illustrations from TDKR. The ears being clipped is just snyder/wilkinson being faithful to original design.

My thoughts on these new photos for whatever it's worth

Well, though I'm getting tired of seeing Armored Batman, it's a nice image. I'd prefer some of the actual batsuit. It's getting a read frustrating now. Not to mention, to the casual audience it's going to seem like he just wears this suit in the film, this drawing comparison comments like "OMG why is batman copying iron man?" The superman image on the other hand doesn't do much at all.. It's a lifeless photo... And man don't get me started on the Luthor image. I've been trying hard to get behind this but jeez it looks like a corny 80's comedy

Why? He'd want all the protection he could get, e.g. this current armored suit.
