That scene is my favorite action scene of the trilogy without a doubt. People bag on Baleman but it takes one skilled mutha****er to do what he did in that moment.

That scene(/movie/trilogy) is incredible.

My fav action scene was the Hong Kong skyscraper scene. Beautifully shot and so well executed.

Plus seeing Batman with the wingsuit type backpack was awesome.

That shot was incredible and I did love the look of the batsuit with the "backpack". He almost looked Batman Beyond-like.

Yeah, this is definitely one of my favorite scenes from TDK as well. Seeing it for the first time was an almost surreal experience.

I liked this scene because I was in Hong Kong at the time. There was a big flap up because the scene as originally written require Batman to leap into the water and the waters surrounding Hong Kong were heavily polluted and the stunt performers or Bale didn't want to get into the water and Hong Kong people were offended.

I remember reading about that. Man, that was forever ago.

They really nailed the suit.
Only nitpick - more of a personal preference than an issue - is I wish they incorporated the cape a little more in his look.

Probably has to do with the way its ''permanently'' folded around the shoulders. I understand however they want to showcase the sculpt of the suit so it makes sense its done this way.

Personally, I've always loved the draped over the shoulders look.

Who knows though maybe we'll see it like this at some point in the movie or they adjust it for JL.

^ They released a cropped version of it a couple of months ago.

Not to say its confirmation but we did see it in the concept art and the mafex figure had a shot with the cape draped over.

I am happy to see that some are still posting some love for the Bayle Bat..
I am one that can appreciate the new, with out hating on what came before..
I am still a huge fan of "Begins"..
There was some iconc imagery that I waited or for a long while.. that was delivered in that film..
Loved the "Year One" references..
Loved the Alex Ross nods listening in wearing the hoodie..
And Malone.. The GIF.. yep
The dock scene is still a favorite of mine.

What they have done now? I am in love with the suit..
Everything about it..
Look forward to seeing it on the big screen..
That first 20 seconds of the "final"'trailer was glorious..

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm This is why BB is my favorite of the trilogy. It's a Batman film first.

Actually Begins is about Bruce Wayne. TDK is about Batman. And Rises comes full circle with both their stories. Legend, Legacy, and the Man.

The way I've always put it is that Begins is a Batman movie, TDK is a Villain movie and Rises is Bruce movie.

I wonder if we see the cape fully cover his costume.

Doesn't look like it's possible, given the way that it's permanently pinned behind the shoulders. And for how heavy the cape appears to be. Which is a shame because I've always loved the cape most when it acts as a fluid cloak of sorts.

They're all about Bruce/Batman, really. They just each approach the character in different ways. Begins is split pretty evenly between the two personas while Knight and Rises leans more on Batman and Bruce, respectively.
