Aha, The Phantom! Or "Fantomen" as he is called over here. :yay:

Imagine if there is a flashback to Batman's early years...... and he uses this costume

I have always like the first suit, but I don't know how it would look in a movie.

(No-one cares, said the nobody)

Well, we're getting a Batman who's been around for at least 10 years already, so it would be cool to see the old flashback and have them have earlier, less advanced suits. And I've always wanted to see that flared-ears, short gloved look done on film.

So I think my monitor is just all kinds of busted or poorly calibrated because I looked at this on my friend's computer and the blue is all out of whack. But still, I thought it was cool.

Bat-Fleck in a poster style image with Woody Harrelson as Mr. Freeze (I did more of him on the villains page on Future Batmans)...

After figuring out that my blue was way wrong (and I had already merged layers), I gave up on this one. I'm hoping BatFan1979 or someone else might pick up the rest-

1) The blue color being way too light, and could use a bit of texturing.
2) Fleck's face could be blended in better with shading, etc.
3) In general, more shading and correct(ed) lighting/shadows. I don't know squat about that and am less realistic than Rob Liefeld. BatFan1979's previous edit of my blue/gray bats in gotham had killer lighting and really blended in.
4) Freeze's body isn't filled in like his face is so it sorta doesn't get all the way to where I wanted it.

And that's just what I would want to do - a more talented artist could probably turn this into a pretty damn cool image. And there's plenty of space at the bottom for another set of credits!! :D

Dude this is great. Keep it up. Loving the blue Bats. I think something like this would work in a BvS movie that is stylized in the way of 300/Sin City, which is what I dream we will get one day.

You disappoint me, BatScot.

Have this disappointment cookie:

Can't wait to have at least a glimpse of the new suit!

So it was The Phantom? :yay:

Yes:yay:

A fellow Phantom lover? :wow:

That's right:word: And I'm waiting for a new movie. Where is it?:csad: I would like something based on the Lee Falk/Sy Barry strip.

I actually liked the 1996 version with Billy Zane. It was not perfect, but very entertaining. It's one of those movies I can watch over and over again. I hope the new movie will be better, but that they keep the lighter tone. The Phantom I'm used to is not a dark and gritty Batman-type of guy, but a nice guy in a not so nice world:woot: one of my favorite scenes from the 1996 movie is when he's chasing the badguys, and a woman drops her purse because she's scared of him. He stops and takes time to pick it up, give it to her and excuse himself. What a gentleman!:hehe: We need more heroes like that.

Did The Phantom have a blue suit in Norway too? They colored him blue, not purple in Sweden. Oh and i agree Phantom needs another movie. :word:
