this is why I'm more leaning towards a Bizarro hybrid scenario.... as Bizarro would probably demand a super suit (or even if he came from a Bizarro alternate world, maybe he already had the suit) and it would make since that suit would be the opposite of Superman's (dark colors, different shape piping lines, different symbol) and Bizarro was always slightly bigger and bulkyer them himThe devil is in the details fam

Why the heck would Lex design a suit that’s emulating Superman’s— the piping, lines, are almost the exact same — if its identity is supposed to be a secret? ...
Not to mention, that everybody will publicly see that the clone has the exact same powers as Clark.
(P.S the clone is also bigger, and taller than Clark)
“Not really sure how being a deterrent prevents the clone from also being used to damage Superman's reputation. It's Lex. The clone is going to have multiple usages.”
Because then the government would have to be in on the framing of Superman (they’d know about it), and that’s very illegal, and dumb.
I just think this theory falls apart with even the slightest bit of logistical scrutiny
also goes for "same power" argument (as Bizarro has similar/equal in strengths/an invulnerability , but, opposite power site, such freeze laze eyes/ heat breath... ) where he would be able to match Superman but, not look the exact same doing soo
People overuse his quotes almost as much as they overuse Alan Moore quotes...though Morrison is way saner than Moore is
