As far as dating sites go, POF has been the worst luck I've had. eHarmony has been the best luck for me, just in terms of date rate, but not necessarily in date quality. Of all the women I've dated the past few months, the woman off OkCupid was still the one I felt the best about.

Plenty of Fish: 0 dates, 0 responses
OkCupid: 3 dates with 1 woman, a handful of other responses that led to nothing
eHarmony: 6 dates with 4 women, a bunch of other responses that even got as far as phone calls in some cases, but not a date

Err, I usually stay away from threads that have to do with love and relationships and there was a point in my life where I decided to stop being sensitive and sentimental, but recently I met a girl that made an impact on me. We only got to come close for a couple of hours in a night club where I usually go with my friend.

She was a tourist from India and from the moment I sat next to her, we started dancing and coming really close holding each others hands and kissing.
When she had to leave, she asked me if I was coming the next day in the same place and she also gave me her number. I said yes, I'll come for you.
After we left the club she called me to talk a bit on the phone, but the line went off cause she was calling from an international number.

I don't know what happened from then, I tried to call her but she didn't respond nor she was receiving my messages. She didn't even come to the club as she had told me the previous night.

Yesterday I stayed wake all night and managed to find her FB profile and I hope at least we remain distant friends. I have met some girls recently, but she really blew my mind and we felt a strong connection. I am just sad we didn't even get to say goodbye before she left back in her country.
