10. Alfred Would NEVAH Give Up on Bruce
9. Talia Nullified Bane
8. All Gotham Cops Were Foolishly Trapped Underground
7. The Case of the Disappearing Limp
6. Bruce Would Never Do THAT To Alfred
5. John Blake Outsmarted Jim Gordon
4. Bruce Wayne Never Wanted Copycats
3. Bruce Would Not Have Quit Over Rachel’s Death
2. How Did Bruce Get Back to Gotham?
1. Bruce Wayne Would NEVER Retire!

Essentially, The Dark Knight Rises is paying for perceived sins that Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were apparently excused from.

That's funny because I've said that over and over.

Bruce Timm being the main guy for the expanded universe would be aces...but what are his thoughts on something grounded such as what MOS is doing?
Bruce Timm has no issues with a "grounded" Superman, in fact, in the special features on the Superman TAS he states that one of their goals during the production of that show was to ground the character a little bit. Hell, they even depowered him significantly. (Much to the chagrin of some fans.)

Many have said that over and over but a certain few just don't want to think it, lol.

Alright, thanks for that bit of knowledge nugget

Knowing that now, I could definitely see Timm being the head honcho for a DC cinematic universe.

Foley giving that awkward smirk makes me laugh every time.

When I saw TDKR in theatres, I really hated the character of Foley but I definitely grew to like that character when I started watching the film at my place, but even Foley needed a bit more time...he was redeemed, I feel, a bit too late where no one would care when he got shot by Talia's Tumbler.

"Please make another in the Dark Knight series. And another, and another."
The future King demand's it Nolan. :woot:

The Princes on the Bat-Pod. I've seen everything lol.

Hahah, pretty cool.

There's the catsuit in the background along with what looks like the maid uniform.

I don't see it quite so black and white. From my POV you are more forgiving of things you enjoy. I'll never say TDK didn't have flaws, but I get a lot more enjoyment out of that film, so find it much easier to forgive its shortcomings. So when you see someone nitpicking the flaws of TDKR and ignoring those of previous films, you should really take it that they just didn't enjoy it as much, making the problems in it harder to forgive.

Yeah, TDKR has more apparent individual flaws than let's say BB, but I still enjoy TDKR more. It's just so emotionally effective and generally grand. The highlights are also sky high.

This is quite true and why I don't have that many nitpicks of TDKR because I very much enjoyed the film. And to me, certain "nitpicks" of others makes sense to me.

I say the same as Eggy, but for whatever your favorite film in the trilogy may be. I like that eye-roll Blake does in the hospital when Foley calls him a hot-head.

Best guess: Died during the five month siege. Who's the only one besides Selina Kyle that saw him during the siege? Lucius Fox, and that was the day before the war and it can be easily said that Bruce was only one of the victims during Bane's siege.

And speaking of Lucius, the ending to TDKR makes it sound like more people would deduce Bruce into being Batman when they found out that Bruce fixed the auto pilot.

^ In a way I think those guys talking to Lucius would keep it a secret. As citizens of Gotham they'd want Batman to remain purely a symbol despite also wanting to show people that Bruce's rich boy facade was just a cover for who he really was.

i was thinking, in light of the reaction of the Boston bombing tragedy, is it all that ridiculous now that Foley dispatched the entire police force unto one place?

Yeah, it still is. If Gotham is the size of New York City then they have around 35,000 cops. There wasn't that many cops dispatched to one place to apprehend the Boston Bomber. Yes, they sent a large group, but the rest performed normal duties. The National Guard was called in to aid the cops that were sent after the bomber. Foley, should have blocked all the entrances in and out of the tunnels, and called in the FBI and National Guard. What Foley did in a post 9/11 world was incredibly stupid, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't protocal.

Doubtful.

Which part? The part when it could be said when Bruce died or the part of those two guys keeping the secret of Bruce being Batman?

Are you talking about Foley sending the entire GCPD to chase Batman or Gordon sending 3,000 cops to the tunnels? Both, I can't see being really accurate, but it's only as bad as Loeb sending the entire police force to the Narrows.
