It's like "what was the point of that if not indoctrination?" So Shepard is barerly alive in spite of destroying the Geth and the Mass Relays, and being stranded on earth? What?

That was THE biggest slap in the face for me personally... It's like... I ****ing spent 200+ hours in that game being the good buy, and I was "rewarded" with a scene of me being alive even when I thought I made the ultimate sacrifice.

I cared more about everyone else than myself in that game... I'd gladly die at the end if that means saving everyone else. The ending I got was COMPLETE and UTTER ******** - it goes against EVERYTHING I did in those games to create a unique personality of my Shepard and the people I cared about.

As I said, if they wanted the player to die at the end, that's fine (although in a game like this, I'd expect to have several vastly different outcomes), but I at least want my sacrifice to be meaningful. Knowing that I died, and that doesn't change anything, on top of ****ing everything up, and seeing myself alive at the end... What kind of a sick joke is that?

I will say one of my BIGGEST disappointments...that I waited for in all 3 games...was the Rachni...

I always imagined an army of rachni with my shepard absolutely OWNING. But what do they do? Well... Off-screen they turn into great engineers and work on a freaking weapon thats fails .

Hell, I almost skipped out on the entire series (caught it late) because of how Bioware treated KOTOR. They have some talented people, but they also have some massive buffoons working there, I'm always skeptical and try to put as little faith as possible in them. But even I wasn't prepared for that ending, especially considering almost 90 percent of ME3 itself was almost flawless (for a Bioware game).

Bioware were the idiots that came up with The Old Republic and presented it Lucasarts when Lucasarts was coming up with the concept art for it.

The sad part is that the majority of ME3 does top ME2, and then you get hit with that ending and realize that, for the sake of Bioware's "artistic integrity," nothing you did matters.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

I felt as though they would screw up the ending. I knew the gameplay would be great, but Bioware is known for making stupid plot decisions in their games, like the Dragon Age games.

As I said before, it's hard to believe how just 10 minutes can overshadow an otherwise amazing 50+h experience. A whole week after my initial outrage I started digging up those great moments I had before the ending.

It's unbelievable how they can have the brilliant Krogan/Salarian storyarc-resolution and that ****** ending in the same game...

Don't forget the Geth/Quarian part! Both of those storyarcs were just excellent. Both emotional and epic, not only that but they were very dependent on your choices with how the drama played out.
