I wanna thank BvS. I haven't had this much of a good time in these forums since ASM2.

By the way, BvS dropped 77% on Monday, making $3.19 million.

I want Snyder away from these characters, but I don't think WB will make that call.

I know what you mean. The insane fanboy reactions and chaos it's caused has been both cringe worthy and so entertaining. I feel like this sometimes in it;

Did you ever think you'd see the day where a Batman vs Superman movie would not make it to a billion, even with no competition in the theaters. It really speaks volumes.

They can fix this by revealing that these are actually Justice Lords versions of the characters. At the end, they are defeated by the Justice League, played by the same actors, but with more of their actual personality intact.

I LOVE the Snyder films and nothing you can say can dent that and I think you guys are dead wrong about his films but I think he's just too polarizing I'm pretty sure you won't see him after Justice League part one unless he hits it out of the park.

Insecure much? Nobody is trying to 'dent' your love of his movies.

There's better odds of him growing two heads than there is of him knocking JL part 1 out of the park. He's botched it twice now. Third time won't be the charm.

I honestly don't get it...

No offense, but why is it that some fanboys, like yourself, assume that people are trying to convert you to negativity or are trying to convince you of something?

I think it's blatantly obvious that when most people go on about how they hate this film, they're just sharing their view. I doubt most posters are sitting there going "How can I destroy Steamteck's belief in Zack Snyder today?"

What they said.
No one attempted to change my view as a defender of Man of Steel.
But man, did Batman v Superman have the wrong effect on people.

I get people don't like the film. They genuinely feel that way. It's nothing personal.

Heh, it actually reminds me of the Schumacher era of Batman movies. Pretty to look at but no substance and boring to watch.
The Schumacher movies had substance. Have a very great day!

God bless you! God bless everyone!

Never make your hero go full ***hole. Don't believe me? Ask George Lucas, Star Wars, early 2000's? Made Anakin go full ***hole, went home with no fanbase.[/I]
Anakin was a villain or was on the road to becoming villain for most of the prequels. Why wouldn't he be that? Have a very great day!

You are right. Obviously (looking around) we all loved The Dark Knight Rises wars. I was one of its staunchest advocates, but it really took a toll. And after that one, I just haven't felt the excitement. Man of Steel was meh. Marvel is fine. I really enjoyed X-Men: Days of Future Past, but because it's not Marvel Studios or DC, the fan community seemed kind of silent.

But Batman v Superman? Here is a historic superhero movie for all the wrong reasons. The kind of superhero disaster that only comes around once every 5 or 10 years. And one that makes for delirious chaos everywhere on the Hype. And you the thing about chaos? It's fair. :sly:

More are not. We very few are a special breed of vindictive. :oldrazz:

... When you sober up--

Start with Superman: For All Seasons, or even Superman: Birthright (I consider both a must). Right in the middle (though they get a lot of hate these days) I really enjoy The Death and Return of Superman saga as big blockbuster entertainment. In a similar vein, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies/Supergirl/Absolute Power, Superman: Last Son, Superman: Brainiac . End with my favourite Superman story-- and arguably the best-- All-Star Superman.

And whole swath of great material from the Curt Swan, John Byrne and Dan Jurgens eras and a whole bunch more I'm missing.

RIP Amber Rayne. Always sad when someone who provided me with countless hours of entertainment passes on.
