I blame the corporate media. They wanted a fight (for the ratings), so they made it seem like Hilary's email "scandals" were as bad as Trump's gross xenophobia, sexism and completely nutty political views.

The last few weeks were comical. They made it seem like Hilary had a ******** with terrorists, only for the FBI to finally concede that....nope...it was nothing.

I'm impressed at how people on this site can just go on talking about superheroes as if nothing happened. Meanwhile there's now a madman in control of the most powerful army in the history of mankind. And he has nukes.

It's not an insult. I'm genuinely impressed.

To be fair, this place was a graveyard on election night. Everyone was on the politics thread.

But life must go on. We must all go on to school/work and post on message boards about superheroes. Life isn't stopping. We must be alert. We must stop Trump and his administration from discriminating people.

Clinton and Trump seem to be two sides of the same coin. Both are corrupt people but while Clinton is more covert with her corruption, Trump is more willing to outright show it. I think Trump will start to be more moderate now that he is president. Though, as with any president, he should be under heavy scrutiny.

That's what's wrong with the majority of people who hate him, they talk about how open minded they are and how close-minded Trump is but now they're being hypocrites. Give him time and if he starts making some bad choices then you can jump down his throat (and i'll join you). He's not going to be allowed to do everything he wants.

I was pretty much in that boat of trying to give him a chance....right up until he appointed Steve Bannon as his chief advisor. Oh, also appointing the world's foremost climate change denier to lead his EPA transition team.

So yeah, some pretty monumentally horrific choices all within the first week.

An extra 15-30 minutes just adds to the pain of having to watch them again.
