I don't wanna do this in front of your daughter? Then why did you wait until he was with his daughter...you dummy Bats. Either he's stupid for saying that or he's just being an A-HOLE using Deadshot's daughter to make Floyd back down easier. Everything with this version of Batman is about the easy route i find. Blow up a bunch of thugs cuz it's easier. Hunt down Deadshot when he's hanging out with his kid cuz it's easier to make the murderer back down. Smart, sure. But a a-hole move nonetheless.
Lol, it might be an A-hole movie, but like you said, it was smart and effective. When a killer is on the loose and lives are potentially at stake, I'm not sure that Batman always has the luxury of waiting around and trying to plan for the nicest possible arrest scenario that doesn't hurt the killer's pride. And if Deadshot was taking care of his daughter and with her all day/night, there might not have been a better/safer scenario, or he could have lost him altogether if he didn't take action.
How would it be Deadshot's fault only (if his daughter was shot?).
Because Deadshot was willingly firing gun shots with his daughter a few inches away from him, more concerned with staying out of custody than protecting his daughter or doing right by her. The most dangerous person in that alley was Deadshot, and he definitely acted accordingly.
Bats could have tracked him down with or without Waller and made sure he got him on a night when he was alone. How about the next night? Or the night after? Batman would be just as responsible if a child was shot. It's not like he didn't know and she suddenly appeared in the same alley throwing herself in the middle of the situation.
How about the next week? Or the next year?
That's not how this works. Do you feel the same way about the police, that they should wait days for a wanted killer to be alone (so that they don't seem like A-holes) before trying to capture him? What if the killer catches on that he's being followed (by Batman or the police) and either completely evades capture or escalates the situation into something much more dangerous? What if Batman waited a day, and Deadshot killed someone between then? Sometimes, when an opportunity presents itself, it needs to be taken advantage of before such an opportunity slips away.
I'm pretty sure he definitely meant to do it in front of his daughter
Yup, but he clearly gave Deadshot the opportunity to do the right thing and surrender willingly. Instead, Deadshot made himself look like the killer he was in front of his daughter, leading her to plead for him to stop. He embarrassed himself more than Batman did.
He absolutely took advantage of deadshot's weakness (his daughter) to actively avoid the hassle of apprehending him in battle
For sure, but most likely to grab him while he had the chance and while Deadshot was out of his element. Either way, Batfleck - 1, Deadshot - 0.
