Bringing this guy up made me think of how amusing it is that the DCEU guy is the first movie Alfred not played by an actor named Michael.
Theatrical, not linked to a show.Well if we want to get technical Alan Napier played Alfred in the 1966 Batman movie. So Irons isn't the first.

Is the Gotham version more like the father or the grandfather?Anyone else realize the changing dynamic of the Alfred/Bruce relationship in the movies? In the Burton pictures Alfred felt more like a gradpa. In the Nolan movies he was like the father Bruce never grew up with. In BvS he is more like an older brother.
In the next incarnation of Batman Alfred is gonna go full Q. He will be an younger butler.
