People still think that the tomato meter is the average score.

Looks the JL boards are in meltdown. I don't think anyone expected the RT score to be that bad.

What a magical evening it was

I left the theater with a smile on my face at least, more than I could say for the previous Snyder directed film. Many problems though, and I imagine most of them will be solved or handled much better when Zack is finally replaced on these big event films.

Big announcements and changes are definitely on the horizon. Very eager for that.

Oh man. Henry's CGI mouth is taking a beating on Twitter. Even Seth Rogan's in on the act.

yep, the beginning of the film was especially bad. quite noticeable throughout his time in the film, which pretty much confirms most of his scenes were re-shot.

I'm now really curious to see what the character was like in the film before snyder left the project.

"This is the kind of film which, by comparison, Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin is a masterclass in coherence, in character development, in razor sharp storytelling."

I've never noticed until now how big those damn eye holes are in that cowl. LOL.

'The threatiest threat that ever threatened', lolololololol

Man, Justice League was a weird movie. A total 6/10 (being generous), purely for the fanboy moments that were provided.

Even Affleck felt underwhelming and I liked him somewhat in BvS. Some really nice moments, but overall the movie just falls apart.

Oh and I cringed pretty hard at one point.

You can spoil it for us, we won't be mad. But you should of course spoiler tag it in case there are audience present in the thread and are willing to complain for finding what they most likely used a search engine to find.

SUPERMAN: ''Do you bleed?''

BATMAN: ''Oh yeah, something is definitely bleeding''

Yikes!

That reminded me of the Pete Holmes Batman spoof videos on YouTube. Egregious.

Classic Whedon.

Reminds me of:

Stark: Incoming.....

Cap: Incoming already came it.

God why can't I just get this over with and find a good bootleg online lol. I may go see it in theaters this weekend with a group of friends. We'll see. I'm excited because I want to laugh at it hard but I also would like to be the guy who's surprised by how fun it is (like that's going to happen).

The latest is that Jake has been the front runner for months, and used against Ben so he can stay in the role. And if Ben walked, they would then have Jake to fill in. Also, apparently Reeves wants to take the franchise back to its crime/noir roots, looking at David Fincher films like Se7en, The Game and Zodiac (which coincidentally features Gyllenhaal) as a template. Which makes me think Riddler will be the main baddie. Also, it's supposed to be recast, no prequels.

I'm pretty sure we will see Riddler and Penguin in the new films. Instead of leaving it in the casting threads only, my suggestion would be Mark Stuhlbarg for Penguin. Paul Dano or Domhnall Gleeson for Riddler. Keep Irons and Simmons. Keep Margot Robbie. Recast Jared Leto with someone extraordinary like Joaquin Phoenix, or keep Leto and just redesign him, direct him differently. I do believe Gyllenhaal vs Leto could be magic if it's done correctly. Let's bring in Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon as well.

Both of them are a microcosm of their respective approaches to sueprheroes. For Whedon, it's always a quip, even at the expense of drama. For Snyder, it's tone deaf profundity. So self serious and sure of its greatness that it doesn't realize how ridiculous it is.

Affleck as Bruce Wayne was worse here I thought too. Fine as Bats though and I liked everyone else. But it feels like there’s 20-30 minutes missing from the film.

Yikes. JL is heading for less than 100 mill opening weekend. Mental. Insane.
