And I'd agree with WB. I don't want to wait through three solo films before JL. One like the Flash is fine.

Just seems like one of those tentative early dates that you know is going to get pushed back. JL will be a massive undertaking, and it might be wise to have Flash, WW, and Bats solo films before JL.

Eh. Batman, Superman, WW, Nightwing and Flash are already in BvS. It's already basically Superfriends, I think the JL will be an easy step for them after BvS

I would say yes because it didn't case the furor the Affleck announcement did. But ,I can't see it as a smart move if she was chosen to be the face of her own franchise. Gadot is very pretty, and I think she'll be a good choice if Wondy is just going to be included in JL films.
What about her height? She can't show up at a press conference and have Affleck tower over her!!! It would be so wrong.

Flash is the only hero that I think absolutely must have a solo film, he's long overdue and half decent execution of a Flash film could make him extremely popular.

lol...I have faith they'll use some camera magic when needed. Though truthfully, I've always thought Diana and Bruce were the same height, but I wouldn't be upset if he was taller than her. That doesn't really bother me.

Well, atleast WW and Flash.
Stand-alone films will build the different heroes' respective world, and also introduce the characters to the general audience.
We think it may be wise, but I don't think WB sees it that way.
They don't care about the quality of the product, only the money it makes.

Wonder Woman doesn't deserve a solo film??

she deserves one, but I was just talking from a necessity POV, a WW solo film is a gamble, a Flash solo film is much less so. my ideal would be WW and Flash both get solo films between now and JL.

But a couple of moths ago, the actress' height bothered a lot of people.

That was WB caving to rabid fans that wanted Bryan Singer to direct a Superman movie because cause of how X2 turned out and because everyone knew he was a Superman fan.

We were all cheer leading Bryan Singer until we saw the movie.
SR is a Superman film the world didn't need to see. But perhaps we deserved it, though!

But a couple of moths ago, the actress' height bothered a lot of pepple.

Height is a non-issue in film. It's been that way for decades. Actors and Actresses will come across as being whatever height the filmmaker wants them to look.

They have made a lot of shoddy choices in the past. It's hard to have faith in their decisions.

Not me...lol...though seriously I've always thought of Wondy being this tall, but I knew we'd never get something like that on film.

That's what I used to say too. But people were stuck up on the fact that the actress needed to be as tall as Cavill and Affleck in real life, because of the public appearances they will do together.

And now they cram every superhero we can think of into one single film. After Flash, the latest rumour is Hawkman.
Only a matter of time before there will be buzz about Green Arrow as well. The TV series is popular and I think Warner bros want to get a piece of that cake.

Perhaps the future JL, once it's formed, will have Carter Hall and Oliver Queen instead of Arthur Curry and Hal Jordan?

Then you lost sight of the way things actually work, it doesn't matter what a few people that are stuck on the height issue think, because height flat out ISN'T AN ISSUE. Tom Hardy's shorter than Christian Bale, but if you didn't know better you'd have thought he was the tallest actor in TDKR. Let the people that actually think height's an issue go on being wrong.

All I'm going to say is... it's a good thing BOF isn't the only Batman website around anymore. It's nice that fans have a choice now. It's even nicer to know that most fans have chosen Batman News. For me, it's not about how many WB contacts are in my iPhone, it's about earning the respect of Batman fans. I love you guys!

It only took Batman News 8 months (after it launched in September 2010) to crush BOF in terms of web traffic, and it's easy to see why. Batman News has received over 1 million hits a month, every month, since July 2013. Thank you! And just look at our Twitter followers:

BOF joined Twitter in September 2008 and has 5,900 followers.
Batman News joined Twitter in September 2010 and has 40,400 followers.

Sorry to go off on a tangent. I've talked to the "real" Jett before and he was really nice... but his public persona is what gives him a bad name. He insults the very people who read his site, and he comes across as egotistical. I truly feel like he runs the site just for him now. He's in it for the early info, the set visits, the premieres. He doesn't run the site for the fans anymore... the fact that he constantly posts news late (by hours, sometimes even days) proves that. The fact that it still looks like a site that was designed in 1998 proves that.

I'm glad that I don't enjoy visiting BOF, because if I did... I probably wouldn't have felt the need to start my own Batman website. I launched "Batman News 2.0" last March, with a really slick design that automatically adjusts for desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Early next year I plan on launching a few new features to make it even better!

Yeah, man, you're killing it. Your site is great and you've done an amazing job. I remember when you first start it up and it's been awesome to see it grow to what it is now.

Thankfully, you know the simple importance of reporting NEWS, not any absurd rumor that you catch wind up. Also, when you post Batman news (or any superhero news, for that matter), you're able to keep your opinion and biases out of it all unlike Jett.

Great job all around. Keep doing it big and bigger things will come! I'd like to see you nabbing an exclusive interview with Snyder or Goyer next year.

I'm ambivalent about it tbh. I think on one hand it does make sense to introduce other people with superpowers since they potentially give Superman powered-up villains to fight. I'm not sure all these "heroes" are actually going to be heroes when the movies starts. That's probably while I'm not up in arms about it. Though I do see the reason for concern. This seems rushed and there wasn't any build up to other heroes in MOS. Heck...there was barely a reference to Batman.

Well we saw a little boy with a red shirt and a lightning bolt on it during the fight in Metropolis with Superman and Zod.

Doesn't it limit the types of shots you can do if one character is dramatically shorter than the other?
