That's an amazing and powerful image. Speaks volumes. I know one actor who could easily bring that image to life - Hugh Jackman. Dunno about Affleck, but he has a really great trainer.

Or I could be wrong. But the main takeaway is that for a while he was also looking progressively chubbier (partly due to water retention I guess). I'd say he's gained a fair bit of fat along the way, and there's no way around that. He'll probably start cutting soon. Looking at his face on this photo (December 14th), maybe he already has:
If that's the case he won't be able to put on much more muscle than he already has at this point.

Anyway, In my book, if this is more or less his final size, that means a slightly physically underwhelming Batman.
Even during shooting, his regular street clothes would hide his physique very well (although he always looked big shouldered with a small waist).

That photo is 3 months before he shot his shirtless scene (clothes stealing scene). And seriously when those pictures "leaked", it looked like Cavill had hulked out, just exploded with bulging muscles all over the place.I remember us freaking out about how skinny Cavill looked at the Comic-Con that took place a month or two before filming, saying he looked rake thin. We know how well that turned out.
