Chapter 7: "Out of Time" Discussion 11/5/07

If Adam killed Kaito as revenge against Hiro, why did he wait this long? Why now? He's been in the group all along and Hiro betrayed him centuries prior.

He was imprisoned most likely by all the people he's marked for death. So when he got loose recently, the first one he went after was Kaito. He wasn't getting revenge against Hiro, he was getting revenge against the *****e bag who locked him.

Keep in mind we have no idea how long they have had Adam locked away. It could have been for quite a few years for all we know. Plus with the time travel issue their could be a billion ways to explain it,none of which I will attempt. Or maybe I will a little, he waited for so long due to the fact that Adam knew the point in the timeline from which Hiro left and would return and Adam of the future didn't gain knowledge of Hiro until that point in the the timeline?

It's more likely that Adam got to this time the long way, I.E. by living through it, founding the original group, attempting to take over the world or whatever, before being taken down and imprisoned by some of his fellow teammates or whatever you wanna call them. So, he's possibly been locked away for decades.

yes and he had to gain the 1st generations trust before he could turn on them, most likely he had killed off some in the photo before he was captured thats why it was spoken by Hiros dad that only 9 were left. Also in the photo was adam even in it or was he the one taking the photo maybe?

No, because he says EXACTLY what I've been saying back to you.

"We assumed the audience wanted season 1 — a buildup of intrigue about these characters and the discovery of their powers. We taught [them] to expect a certain kind of storytelling."

How many times did I tell you this? And yet you kept b****ing that the "dynamics" were supposed to change. :whatever:

And Kring is acknowledging that they SHOULD HAVE changed the dynamic.

That's it. I couldn't not sig it!

(Double-negatives for emphasis!)

So even he hates Wes or whatever the hell his name is. I guess we know which of the few nubs will be dead.

hey if they can kill off west *yay*, this can give claire a whole new direction in terms of character. being all sad and pissed off and actually doing something productive other than lying to her dad and cheerleading...

it was fine that claire had to find out who she was, learning to trust people and running away from sylar all season. but how the hell do u go from all that, to going into cheerleading and an annoying smart ass bf? she couldve been much more after the first season...

and in regards to the episode...im very glad they are back into the groove.

Bob said they had Adam locked away until recently. He killed Keito because he was part of the group that locked him away.

Well it had to be within the older Heroes life times, so about 40-50 years tops. Which isn't that long for a guy that's sopposedly immortal, imo.

Yeah. Adam brought the 1st gen together. And then Bob said they all worked together until Adam started to get too full of himself (Changing the weather??). They then locked him away for the better good. From the scenes for the next ep. I believe, the company found Peter and locked him away also. Adam must have talked Peter into escaping by telling him a bigger threat is on the way and only they can stop it. Somewhere along the way he meets Elle (sent to find Peter). The Haitian catches up to him also and gives him amnesia and sends him off to Ireland. Should be a fun ep.

If it went down just like this, i'd be happy.

9 were left because Linderman, Devereaux, were dead and Kaito expected to die as well.

She joined cheerleader because she had to back up her lie. She likes West because they have things in common. Neither of these things is a step back in terms of character development.

It looked like The Company found Peter and Elle was in charge of watching him. He managed to manipulate her(which explains the kiss) and free himself, along with Adam. Not sure how the Haitian is involved, but obviously he was working against the Company.

There were 9 left because Linderman, Deveaux and Mr Petrelli, were dead. That's what Kaito said, anyway. He wasn't counting himself.

He won't die, he'll just fly away when somebody [BLACKOUT]asks him to play by someone else's rules that aren't his own[/BLACKOUT]

I agree with everything, except that it seems natural for Claire to find herself in a relationship. They just don't need to spend too much time on it.

Claire should have a relationship, but does it really have to be that *****e bag that every high school has? You know, the one with the attitude of "oooh, look at me. I'm so anti-establishment! That makes me better than all of you?"

Also, does Claire's boyfriend really have to have such bad dialogue?
