RoboCop Reboot - Part 2

i can see for a teaser an all black poster with only a red horizontal line on it.

The OST will be crucial. A big part that made Robocop into the classic it is today was Poledouris music for the film.

Whoever they hire I hope they do a great job because they have gigantic shoes to fill in. Daft Punk isn't a bad choice but they'd really have to tone down some of their synth work.

I think Michael Giacchino could make a really great score and I think he would especially nail the more sentimental notes that were present in the original score. He's too busy though seeing as Star Trek comes out next year. :(

Example 2:22:

Ugh, I sick of all these people coming out complaining about the suit as if it's their duty to do so.

I think it looks just fine. I'm looking forward to more than just what the suit looks like anyway..

Clint Mansell would be cool for the OST... :o

Apparently Pedro Bromfman will be doing the score.

I haven't heard anything about that but I did like him. Which brings to mind that HEALTH in collaboration with Bromfman could create a great score. Their score for Max Payne 3 was incredible and Bromfman did a good job with music selection in the Tropa De Elite series.

He is listed as doing the score on IMDB. He did the scores for Elite Squad 1 and 2. It could be fake as IMDB isn't reliable but Padilha's regular editor and DOP are working on the film as well so it wouldn't surprise me if Bromfman is doing the score.

Does Robocop have a data port in the back of his head? It would be surreal if he has to have a spike jabbed into his head

For all of you fans of the Wire. Is that Boadie in that pic? On the right?

The suit is growing on me. I still wish it looked more robotic but its a nicely sleek design with subtle homages to the original. The one human hand is throwing me off, though. Why's it there?

The original score is terrific. Whoever is doing this will have a lot to live up to.

SPOILERS

If it is J.D. Williams, maybe he is playing Vallon - aka the man who guns down Murphy in this film...?

I'm just hoping for a official pic now... The suit does look a whole lot better in those pics though, but after some CG magic I'm sure it will look even better!

I love all these new photos. I have high hopes for this film. The team behind this are 10x better than what Total Recall got anyway. I'm worried (more curious than anything) about Murphy's death though. I really want it to be grim and violent but also very emotional. And I think Murphy getting killed while off-duty is a step in the right direction. Has kind of a Sopranos shoot-out feeling to it, in my opinion. I can just feel the suspence and escalation in the scene. I hope they can really pull this off. I want them to.

Those new pics are great. Always have been cautiously optimistic about the suit and now it looks like I can actually get excited. Gun looks great and all the shots make the suit look gooood.

you think this will be a subtle joke that Robocop thinks that two black male kids are criminals?

or is this just again hollywood being hollywood?

Stunt sequence. It appears he jumps quite acrobatically into the crowd and starts shooting at a perp :) *since people on the Robocop Archive can't seem to figure this out: That's a stuntman in a stunt version of the suit/visor and that's why it doesn't look quite as good in these shots and you can see part of his nose. He's obviously only performing the actual jump off the stage.*

That red line through the visor totally makes a big difference for me. Much better. Just looks more Robo.

The red line absolutely finishes the look. It creates that original Robocop look in a modern way more futuristic tech way.

Wasn't it said he won't die? Just get seriously injured?
