Just got back from checking out crowds and they were quite good! ALL the large auditoriums were still showing Avengers and almost packed. Dark Shadows had only two screenings in smaller settings. By my gage the $90 million projection is the "over/under" number at this point. I'm betting "over."

According to Box Office Mojo, Time Warner's "The Dark Knight" took in $238.6 million in its first week in U.S. theaters. The Avengers is at $244 million as of this writing, and its first week isn't yet over.

28-30 puts it right at what IM2's Thursday to Friday jump, and when I punched the numbers for that weekend we got:

Fri: 29M Sat 44M Sun: 28M = 101M
