The Relationship Thread: Because Superhero Forums are Full of Sexperts! - - Part 31

Finding a new therapist has been a genuine pain in the butt. I agree with you though. I’m actually dying to find someone to talk to.

Still looking for a new one? Within your day inner circle, there's no one who can recommend you a good therapist? (Where I'm from, going to the therapist is very normal and we do share recommendations, maybe that's too much for certain people).

Oooooohhh boy......Am I going to be on my best behavior or what????

@Flash525 .....might you want to comment? :funny:

London Broil on sale for less than $4/pound. Time for a batch of Jerky.

Oh, ok! I mean, it sounds like a good offer.

Wait, are you trying to seduce us with your jerky? :crso:
Oops. Meant for this to go in the kitchen thread, but if you don’t stop with the innuendo, I’ll have to resort to the report button. Damn phones and their little screens.
You have offended my Puritanical sensibilities.

I just can’t with that woman. We agreed to meet with the agent again Wednesday but I think I’ll skip it. He can email me his opinion.

im not sure i'd miss meetings like this, especially when they are important or affect financials etc. it's better to have the first hand knowledge of what went on. just keep it completely professional and don't stay around to talk to her after

The meeting went well. No drama, everyone got along.

Afterward my wife texted me to say that her parents were telling her to get rid of our realtor. They wanted us to find a new one or they’d do the sale themselves.

This is one of the reasons I left.

What is wrong with the realtor in their eyes or is it because they don't want to give the commission or the realtor is getting more money for the house then they thought?

I know anytime I'm told something I own is worth more than I thought it was, my first reaction is to fire them. :whatever: Real Estate agents (those in the states anyway) tend to charge about the same.

If you aren't the owner of something, you don't have any say in how to handle anything.

They want us to find a realtor that will have a lower percentage. We are happy with who we have but that doesn’t matter to them. They always act like they know better than everyone else and it makes me crazy. Their controlling attitude is one reason that I left.

I told her to ask them why they don’t want us to do this ourselves and they say she makes bad choices and they want to protect her. Such passive aggressive controlling bs.

her parents have no business being involved right? do they have any rights to the property or anything?

I've done a fair amount of this and if you are comfortable with your agent, you should go with them. That being said, talk to as many agents as you like and make your decision without listening to parental units. This is the call of the owners and not anyone else.

There's a saying a friend of mine used. "I don't like advice because people giving it don't have to take their own and it doesn't cost them anything to give it"

Her mom is saying a friend of hers can sell our house for 5% as opposed to our guy’s 6%. We’re keeping ours, even if just for the principle of it.
