Your girl needs subtitles or the volume needs turning up :oldrazz:

oh she aint my lady. if she was, she wouldnt be anymore after trying to fight me on this. my woman just accepts what i tell her about batman. LOL.

Batman doesn't like thank yous much....

BB -
Gordon: "I never said thank you."
Batman: "And you'll never have to."

The Dark Knight -
Gordon: "Thank you."
Batman: "You don't have to thank me."
Gordon: "Yes I do."

The Dark Knight Rises -
Blake: "Thank you."
Batman: "Don't thank me yet."
Blake: "I may not get a chance later."

I wonder if everytime someone says "thank you" to Batman in his mind it is just "ooohhh for **** sake" :funny:

Also noticed the mayor shouldn't stand near windows....

Also in the original script Bane says that he must fullfill Ra's Al Ghul's destiny because Ra's recused him from the pit and Bane must now avenge his murder. Talia also said she is honoring her fathers work buy fullfilling it.

There was only one time he never rejected a thank you and that was from Rachel:

Rachel: "Is Harvey ok?"
Batman: "He's safe"
Rachel: "Thank you"

Something else from the original script which I'm really surprised they changed was the fact that Gordon kills the truck driver of the bomb (the one at the end) and not Batman firing with the Bat.

Also Catwoman kills/stops both Bane and Talia in the original script :funny: that would have angered a lot of people.

I'm very glad they changed the last shot of the film.

So, saw the film a second time yesterday. A couple of things I noticed.

Both Talia and Selina pick up Bruce's pictures. Selina picks up a picture of Bruce's parents. And Talia picks up the picture of Rachel.

Bruce and Talia share a moment near a fire where she briefly talks about her past. Bruce and Ra's did the same thing in Batman Begins near a camp fire.

Talia picked up a photo of Bruce's parents, too. She did it just before she picked up Rachel's picture.

I've read some people suggest that Talia was referring to her and Bane when she was talking to Bruce about how "they" felt rich when they had a fire. In that scene of shirtless Bane at the sewer, he was tending to a fire too.

Also, did anyone notice if Bruce has a scar under his left eyebrow (where Bane hit him in the sewer fight) in the cafe scene? I've seen it mentioned now at 2 different forums but I can't remember noticing it.

Sad to see the board slow down now...

But thats the way it goes. Everything, apart from the tragedy, turned out very well for the film.

Alright, you guys are really starting to make some weird "connections".

Strange. I distinctly remember her picking it up and then picking up Rachel's one.

It seems like she's going to but her fingers touch it, "I'll honor your parents, Bruce."

Or whatever her line is. Then she moves on to Rachel's picture.

It definitely slowed faster than I thought it would be. A lot left the boards and stopped posting too. It might pick up a bit when the DVD comes out...

There's always the reboot too. I'm sure as soon as that's announced things will ramp up once again.

"It'll liven up in a minute. Trust me."

Yeah I guess once the film has been out a couple weeks, people will move on to something else with new films being announced and speculation over other projects, its inevitable as you say.

Yep we certainly got the film we deserved as well as the one we needed right now:woot:

Still, a little sad to see the Nolan era come to an end...

But for me it doesn't end until a new director/actor is announced. :woot:

Yeah, still a few more things to look forward to. Blu Ray/DVD release, Trilogy Box Set release (hopefully with loads of never before seen extras *crosses fingers*), Oscar season. It's definitely sad to see it all come to an end though. I'm so grateful for what we have, but it's undeniably hard for me to accept the Nolan series as past tense at this point. I think it'll get easier once we have a solid idea of what shape the reboot is going to take and it seems to be going in a good direction.

I cant wait for the reboot announcement. We are going in completely blind so the speculation should be really fun. I completely missed the batman begins forum days so im looking forward to experiencing the speculation from the very beginning of a new batman story.

not true IMO. after the movie is out a lot people come to the sections to talk about the movie. people a lot of times ignore the bat boards because the movie is not out yet.

what is happening with TDKR is very strange and extreme. after BB was out the bat boards were full for months. and it was the same with TDK. TDKR is the last batman movie from Nolan and its very empty.

i think .......that noone cares because the movie didnt suprise them like BB and TDK. they like the movie but nothing more.

Same!
