That commercial made Gotham look perfect. Ugh Snyder. Gotham looked like a different part of Metropolis.Remember when we were all excited about the Gotham city we thought we were gonna get when the airlines commercial got our hopes up? It had axis chemicals and everything. The actual Gotham was just nondescript lines of black buildings. Just like Metropolis.
Forgive me. Metropolis had the world's largest toilet for birds. The superman statue.
She entered the scene of the battle without any hint of inspiration from Superman, and now it's Superman taking that risk that made her try to be helpful? That doesn't match. With Superman (Henry Cavill) having laid down his life for Earth, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) recruit a superteam to take on a new threat to civilization in Justice League. “It was all about the filling-out of this massive comic-book pantheon with the biggest and coolest heroes we could,” director Zack Snyder says of his group, which includes seafaring warrior Aquaman (Jason Momoa), speedy Flash (Ezra Miller) and high-tech Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Fans are getting a big character arc for Wonder Woman in 2017, beginning with her solo movie set during World War I. In it, she finds “humanity isn’t always the most kind and awesome thing,” says Snyder, also a producer on Wonder Woman. “It has its moments, but it can be brutal, and her coming to terms with that dichotomy is what we come to learn about her. And in Justice League, she’s fully evolved into someone who’s embraced mankind, partly through Superman’s sacrifice. She’s like, ‘All right, I’ve got to pick it up.’"
Are they walking out of a shipping container? WTF.
If Letoker can go from what he was in SS to a character that you can compare to TDK Joker without laughing, then that would be quite the turnaround.
With the way JL is shaping up, I might just skip it entirely. Especially with inflated ticket prices thanks to 3D.
I long ago made the decision to skip it. There's no point in going to see something I'm 99% likely to hate.
