Those blacks look very nice.
So I checked out TDK on iTunes last night. While the brighter scenes definitely suffered in the downconversion to this iTunes stream, the darker and more contrasty shots give you a better approximation of what this is going to look like. You gotta realize that this is still a crappy version and NOT how this is intended to be seen, but if you're a geek for this stuff...it's incredible to finally see the actual 35mm scenes restored. When you can see an improvement even here, you know it's going to be something else with a proper 4k setup.

I actually just purchased a 4K TV with HDR ....but no idea what kind of player to get.
Begins looks and feels so different. Reminds me more of Rises.
I can't believe they added a crappy blue tint to the prior transfers of Begins.
I bought a cheap 4K HDMI chord to connect my 4K player to my TV. Do I need to get an expensive? Would that make any difference?
